President
Michael brings to clients and strategic partners nearly 20 years of professional healthcare marketing expertise gained within Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. To this he adds the hands-on experiences of assisting clients of the 2 healthcare consulting companies he’s created. He currently leads Trestle Point in delivering superior client outcomes covering a broad range of marketing subjects and professional resources. He created Trestle Point in 2011 to focus on marketing research, marketing planning, effective communications execution, and strategic marketing consulting services for clients in the healthcare industry. His focus on the fundamentals of marketing as well as emerging principles and tools gives him the perspective needed to provide marketing assistance for both short-term project based needs and longer-term marketing management and marketing strategy development.
Before departing Johnson & Johnson, Michael held positions of increasing responsibility within several sales and marketing organizations covering: surgical product sales, marketing research, product management, professional relations, marketing and communications services, strategic level corporate customer relationship development, and sales management. Michael, in his last assignment, served as Senior Director, Strategic Consulting Program Development and Marketing for Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems.
Michael received his MBA in marketing and finance from Rutgers University and his BA in Economics from Dartmouth College. During his corporate years, Michael’s commitment to excellence and superior performance was recognized with honors for Special Achievements, President’s Recognition and a New Jersey Outstanding Black Professional. Michael is a lifelong learner and teacher. Between 2003 and 2007 he held an appointment as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Business with the College of Graduate Studies of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. After nearly 2 decades of service he has retired from an active role in his former church’s financial management and teaching ministries. Mike now resides in and leads Trestle Point from the suburbs of Richmond, Virginia. There he continues to pursue opportunities in Christian ministry and to share life’s pursuits with his wife, children and grandchildren.
